BlitzRookiz Art Workshop
Description: A free comic workshop that aims to train young artists on the ways of comic-making. We teach everything from penciling to coloring. No definite style is being taught just the basics to give the students the freedom of choosing their own path. We push the students to unleash their utmost potential in comics. When their skills are good enough, they might be given an opportunity to join the stable of Blitzworx creators.

Venue: Suite 2608 Prestige tower, F. Ortigas Jr. Rd., Ortigas Center, Pasig City

Lessons: Penciling (Anatomy, perspective…etc.), Inking (Feathering, hatching…etc.), Writing (Scriptwriting, plot… etc.), computer coloring and lettering

Instructors: BlitzWorX creative director Jun Monares, Editor-in-chief Emmanuel Javier and Zero Cool Studios head colorist David Richardson.

Requirements:
• Availability during Saturdays from 1:00 – 7:00pm
• Must be able to commute to Rookie Session Venue (Ortigas)
• Age limit: 13 and above
• Art Samples (5 minimum)
• Sense of humor
